NEW ALBANY — Students at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School on Tuesday afternoon in New Albany attended a Celebrating Academic Excellence school assembly. Students were honored for their attendance record, honor roll and ISTEP scores.

The fellowship opportunities offered by the Rotary Club made it inviting for him to join the organization, Finn said. Partnerships are critical for developing a community and fostering economic development, he continued.
He said the directors held meetings every two or three months and on May 31, 1963, purchased the ground where the club and six Little Leagues fields are located at 4032 Weber Lane.
“It was just a cow path prior to the community club locating there,” Schindler said.
