The National Weather Service in Louisville issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 11 p.m. for Clark, Floyd and surrounding counties in Southern Indiana.
Those in the area should be prepared for heavy rain, lightning and damaging winds. Storms are also in the forecast for Friday.
