The Indiana Department of Transportation is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 65 in Clark County starting Tuesday, March 19.
The Hoosier Co. will be installing temporary barrier walls for construction of the foundations for a Dynamic Message Board on northbound I-65 at the 2.8 mile marker. Lanes affected will be the inner and outer most travel lanes. This work will continue Wednesday night for the southbound lanes at the same location.
Lane restrictions will take place during the evening hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next morning.
The barrier wall placement will close the interstate's shoulders at both locations until work is completed.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot or www.trafficwise.in.gov
