SELLERSBURG —
Indiana State Police Superintendent Paul Whitesell has promoted Matt Marshall to the rank of sergeant to serve as a district squad leader in Sellersburg. The Sellersburg Post covers five counties in Southern Indiana. They include Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington.
Marshall is a native of Clark County, and a member of the Indiana State Police since 1999. Marshall’s most current job was trooper assigned to Clark and Floyd counties. His job responsibilities as sergeant will include assisting the district commander in overseeing the daily functions of the post and supervising a squad of troopers at the Sellersburg Post.
Marshall, his wife Tamara, and their three children reside in Henryville.
