SELLERSBURG —
The Indiana State Police Sellersburg Post is asking for the public’s assistance is finding stolen property.
On June 3, a burglary took place at a residence along Ind. 3 in Otisco, and Andrew M. Evans, 28, of Floyds Knobs, was later arrested for burglary and theft. He was also arrested on the warrant in Scott County on Sunday according to a release from ISP.
Now that Evans has been arrested for the burglary, ISP officers are trying to locate numerous pieces of stolen property. One that should be easy to recognize is a black 1999 Lincoln Continental Town Car limousine.
There also were numerous collector’s coins; a Winchester Model 94; a .22 caliber rifle; a Remington Black Hawk Model 41 Magnum Revolver handgun; a 52-inch Sony flat-screen television; a Honda push lawn mower; a Stihl grass trimmer; a set of Calloway golf clubs in a Calloway golf bag; a Snap On 14-drawer tool box full of miscellaneous tools; and numerous other hand tools and pieces of electronic equipment.
In total, more than $30,000 worth of items were taken from the residence.
