Two Chicks & Co. hosts benefit sale
Two Chicks and Co. will host a 75 percent off sale with proceeds benefiting the Center for Women & Families in New Albany, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the store, 409 Spring St., Jeffersonville.
Items can be purchased by cash or check only. The store also recently donated its final inventory to Xi Beta Alpha Sorority.

Job fair coming to Boys & Girls Club
The Jeffersonville Boys & Girls Club will host its second-annual job fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 17 at the club, 1423 Pennsylvania Ave., Jeffersonville.
Attendees can interact directly with area employers, learn about job openings, submit their applications and interview for jobs. Resume-writing assistance will be provided.
Attendees are urged to dress in job interview appropriate attire. Confirmed employers include New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated Schools Corp., Greater Clark County Schools, Hyatt Regency, Meijer, Metropolitan Corrections, Papa John’s, Sheraton Hotel, Walgreens, WAVE-TV and Wendy’s.
The event is free and open to the public.

St. Joe Hill hosts ‘Chicken To Go’
St. Joe Hill Catholic Church is hosting a carry-out chicken lunch from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. or until the food is gone Sunday at the church, 2605 St. Joe Road West, Sellersburg.
The meal features the popular St. Joe Hill fried chicken, french fries, baked beans, and famous SJH slaw. The cost is $7 for white-meat dinner and $6 for dark meat.

All-Pro Dads hosts business owner
The All-Pro Dads program, sponsored by the YMCA of Southern Indiana and Chick-fil-A, will feature guest speaker Alan Butts, owner of Coffee Crossing in New Albany, for its meeting from 9 to 10 a.m. Feb. 13 at Chick-fil-A, 1320 Veterans Parkway, Clarksville.
Butts will speak on the topic of understanding your child. He and his wife are the parents of two daughters — one in high school and one in college.
All Pro-Dads is a community collaboration to encourage families, in which fathers and their children of all ages can enjoy food, fun and time together on the second Saturday of each month. Each month’s program focuses on a wide range of family topics. Reservations can be made ahead of time by visiting the Y’s Clark County Branch, 4812 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, or the Floyd County Branch, 33 State St., New Albany; or at the restaurant that day if space is available.
The program is open to the public. Cost is $5 for the one adult/one child breakfast combo, with $2 for each additional child.

River Ridge moves forward with development plans
No sale has been finalized on either piece of land, as River Ridge owns the 16-acre parcel, and the adjacent 54-acre tract is owned by Crossdock Development, a Louisville-based company that specializes in developing properties on the order of millions of square feet.
