> SOUTHERN INDIANA —
Transit Authority of River City summer youth passes will go on sale May 15.
The passes are an affordable way to link youth to summer jobs and activities, cost $30 and are good for unlimited travel on all TARC routes by anyone age 6 to 17-years-old through Aug. 31, according to a TARC press release.
“The pass is a great tool for youth to access positive experiences all summer long throughout greater Louisville.” said TARC Executive Director J. Barry Barker, in the release.
All TARC buses are equipped with bicycle racks that could give youths even greater mobility.
The pass will be on sale at: Union Station, 1000 W. Broadway; Nia Center, 2900 W. Broadway; all Fifth Third Bank locations; and the Louisville Free Public Library, Third and York streets in Louisville.
Passes will also be sold online at www.ridetarc.org; or can be ordered by mail by sending a check or money order for $30, with your name, address and phone number to: Summer Youth Pass, c/o TARC cashier, 1000 W. Broadway, Louisville, KY, 40203.
