TARC releases new schedules, maps

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — Revised schedules and maps are available online for Transit Authority of River City route changes that are set to take effect Sunday, Aug. 12.

The changes in service were adopted in order to help close a projected $4.6 million budget deficit projected for the fiscal year, but due to some positive financial developments the cuts were only half of what were originally proposed, according to a press release.

Routes that will be eliminated include:

#37x-Iroquois-Fairdale Express

#38x-Deering Road Express

#65x-Southern Indiana Express

#73x-Charlestown Road Express

#74-Jeffersonville Park and Ride



Routes with service changes include:

#1-Fourth Street Trolley

#2-Second Street

#6-Sixth Street

#18-Preston-18th Street

#19-Muhammad Ali

#22-22nd Street

#29-Eastern Parkway

#31-Middletown

#49x-Westport Road Express

#50x-Dixie Express

#55-Westport Road

#71-Jeffersonville-New Albany

#72-Clarksville

#82-New Albany-Clarksville Crosstown (New Route)
