> SOUTHERN INDIANA —
Lane closures are scheduled to begin Monday, March 11, in Charlestown as the Indiana Department of Transportation begins work to modernize traffic signals.
The work will occur at five locations within the Seymour District, which includes Clark and Floyd counties. During these installations, motorists can expect daylight lane closures, according to a press release. The project consists of new signal heads, cabinets and other upgrades for those areas. Work will begin Monday morning in Charlestown and will end in July in Scottsburg.
The Charlestown signal work will take place at Ind. 3 at Clark Road, Ind. 3 at Denham Lake and Park Street and Ind. 3 at Ind. 62.
Sellersburg work will take place at U.S. 31 at Utica Street. Scottsburg work will take place at Ind. 56 at Main Street.
