SELLERSBURG —
Leadership Southern Indiana along with One Southern Indiana is hosting a forum featuring Glenda Ritz, Democratic Party candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction. This forum will provide residents an opportunity to become better informed to make a choice from candidates for superintendent. The forum is free and open to the general public.
It will take place at 3 p.m. Sept. 25 in the Community Room of the Horseshoe Foundation Assembly Center in Ogle Hall at Ivy Tech Community College, 8204 Ind. 311, Sellersburg.
Mark Eddy, executive director of LSI, said his group decided to organize the session to better inform the community.
“LSI believes we have a very important role in our community,” he said. “We feel we must provide opportunities to educate and inform the public on issues affecting them directly.”
LSI will provide an opportunity at 1 p.m. Oct. 24 to hear from Tony Bennett, Republican candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Questions may be submitted to LSI at info@leadershipsi.org and will be asked by LSI to the presenters during the Q&A period. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of Ritz’s platform.
Visit the LSI website at leadershipsi.org for more information.
