LOUISVILLE —
A travel advisory has been issued for the area from midnight until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, by the National Weather Service in Louisville.
The NWS expects a light mix of wintry precipitation. A mixture of snow, rain, sleet and possible freezing rain is possible, with less than an inch of accumulation of frozen precipitation. Roads will likely be slick in certain areas, the NWS said.
“This storm system remains highly complex and a slight shift in its track could have a larger impact on precipitation type and totals,” the NWS statement reads. “Caution should be used if traveling tonight or tomorrow as some slick spots could develop.”
