JEFFERSONVILLE —
A student struck by a bus this morning on Ind. 62 this morning.
According to an email from the district, the student appeared alert with minor injuries, but was transported to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville. She said she couldn’t release the student’s name or age.
Erin Bojorquez, supervisor of communications and public relations, said the student, who was not crossing at the intersection, was hit while crossing Ind. 62.
The district notified Indiana State Police of the indcident and Jeffersonville Police responded. The district is awaiting results from a drug test they administered on the driver.
