The Jeffersonville Board of Public Works and Safety has approved closure of Riverside Drive, from Pearl Street to Spring Street, on the following dates for events at RiverStage:
• SATURDAY — 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. for the movie “Mamma Mia”
• JULY 4 — 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Louisville Orchestra
• JULY 11 — 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Louisville Orchestra
• JULY 18 — 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Louisville Orchestra
• JULY 25 — 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Louisville Orchestra
The boat ramp area and the city parking lot at the corner of Spring Street and Market streets will be permit parking only for the days the orchestra is in town.

Jeffersonville man sentenced in cocaine case
“We would have liked a higher sentence on the jury trial case, but we’re happy with the aggregate sentence,” Clark County Deputy Prosecutor Jake Elder said.
