A 27-year-old Borden man pleaded guilty in Clark County Superior Court No. 2 on Tuesday to dealing cocaine in Sellersburg.
Deputy Prosecutor Jake Elder said Richard Rodewig III took a blind plea on a charge of possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver, a class B felony. As part of the agreement, the judge can sentence Rodewig to a minimum of 12 and maximum of 20 years in prison. Elder said 12 years cannot be suspended and must be served in prison.
Rodewig was arrested Sept. 3, 2006, at the Indian Oaks mobile homes park where he previously lived. Elder said Rodewig was found with 6.9 grams of cocaine, 15 Lortab pills, 13 OxyContin pills and about $1,500 in cash.
The charge was amended from a class A felony, and charges of dealing a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia were dropped.
Rodewig is scheduled for sentencing Jan. 6.
