Woman arrested for drugs by Jeffersonville police

JEFFERSONVILLE — A Jeffersonville woman was arrested this week after police found drugs and money inside a residence while executing a search warrant.

Teleah S. Johnson, 30, faces charges of dealing in cocaine, dealing in marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

According to a press release from Jeffersonville Police, narcotics officers with the Jeffersonville Police Drug Investigation Unit found more than three ounces of cocaine, two ounces of marijuana and $4,500 in cash inside a home on Center Street in Jeffersonville where Johnson was taken into custody. A vehicle was also seized from the property.
