> SOUTHERN INDIANA —
There are more lane closures coming to bridges spanning the Ohio River.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans joint walk-through inspections with the Indiana Department of Transportation on three Ohio River bridges next week, according to a press release. The inspections allow engineers an annual review of the structures and opportunity to discuss future maintenance projects on shared river crossings.
According to the release, the schedule for lane closures is as follows:
On Wednesday, Aug. 15, the Interstate 65 Kennedy Bridge northbound right lane will be closed from 9 a.m. until noon and Interstate 64 Sherman Minton Bridge’s right lanes in each direction will be closed from 1 to 4 p.m.
On Thursday, Aug. 16, the Milton-Madison Bridge will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. until noon.
