> SOUTHERN INDIANA —
The final numbers are in for Indiana Statehouse races that include districts in Clark and Floyd counties.
In District 73, final totals were not available on election night, but incumbent Republican Steve Davisson was able to defeat Democratic challenger Sandra Blanton with 13,354 votes, or 54 percent, to 11,159 votes, or 46 percent.
Totals from the other Statehouse races include incumbent Democrat Terry Goodin winning District 66 over Republican Justin Stevens with 13,161 votes, or 52 percent, to 12,010 votes, or 48 percent.
In District 70, incumbent Republican Rhonda Rhoads was elected to another term with 16,850 votes, or 57 percent, to Democrat Terry Miller’s total of 12,822 votes, or 43 percent.
Republican incumbent Ed Clere also won another term in District 72 with 16,172 votes, or 55 percent, to Democrat Sharon Grabowski, who collected 13,348 votes, or 45 percent.
