LOUISVILLE

Teens can take drive challenge

Allstate will host a teenage driving event, the Family Drive Challenge, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in Lot C at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, 2800 South Floyd St., Louisville.

Parents and teenagers will compete against each other and other families at the event. Professional instructors will put families behind the wheel and purposefully distract them. The event is not an exercise in how to drive distracted, but rather how quickly an accident can occur if your focus isn’t solely on the road.

The course is designed as a large U. At the curve of the U, there’s a viewing area for teams awaiting their time on the course. The Allstate crew will tape each participant and the video will be shown on a large TV in the viewing area. In addition, the videos will be posted to facebook.com/Driving Change

Contact Allison Hatcher at Allison.Hatcher@allstate.com or at 615-478-4099 for more information.
