Kimmel Racing Re-Grand Opening
Kimmel Racing will have a Re-Grand Opening and Fan Appreciation Open House at its race shop, 201 E. Lewis and Clark Parkway, Clarksville, from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, April 27. Kimmel Racing is located between Morrison Chiropractic and Clarksville Schwinn.
Live music will start the festivities at 6:30 p.m., featuring country music singer and songwriter Hali Hicks. Food will be provided by Ann’s By The River of Jeffersonville.
There also will be an autograph session, featuring Kimmel Racing driver Will Kimmel, Kimmel Racing owner and former ARCA crew chief of the year Bill Kimmel Jr., former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver and Jeffersonville resident Charlie Glotzbach and ARCA drivers Sean Corr, Chad Hackenbracht and Korbin Forrister.
“We’re all about family, and ARCA to us is our extended family, so we wanted to do something nice but also show everyone that we are alive and kicking,” Bill Kimmel Jr. said in a statement regarding Friday’s event. “We’re hard at work on sponsorship for other races and we’ll have a new addition to our family to announce soon, so things are looking up. But we just wanted to provide a night where the shop is open to anyone that wants to stop by and have a great time with us.”
Will Kimmel will be driving Kimmel Racing’s No. 68 Ford in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 on Sunday, April 29 at Salem Speedway.
