> SOUTHERN INDIANA —
In its final home game of the season, Borden beat Salem in four sets, 25-23, 23-25, 25-13, 30-28.
Shelbie Farvour led the way for the Braves with 14 kills and four aces. Senior Morgan Mast added three aces as Borden put 97 of 102 serves in play.
“That was big for us because we have struggled with serve consistency,” Borden coach D.J. Zipp said.
Senior Leslie Beatty had nine kills, 16 digs and four blocks and senior Paige Kruer 15 digs for Borden.
“It was good to get the seniors to get out of here with a win in their last home game,” Zipp said of Beatty, Kruer, Mast and Megan Frascella. “I am going to miss this group.”
