MAYFIELD, Ky. —
Indiana University Southeast’s women went on the road and earned an 85-75 win over Mid-Continent at the Cougar Center in Mayfield, Ky., on Tuesday.
Heather Wheat led five Grenadiers in double figures with a 20-point, 10-rebound, four-assist, three-steal performance in the victory. Wheat led IU-Southeast in all four categories
Briana Palmer added 17 points and Kortney Woods, Ashmere Woods and Megan Cureton scored 10 apiece for IU Southeast. Palmer went 5-for-8 from the field and made all six of her free throws.
Mid-Continent’s Stephanie Malone led all scorers with 35 points. She also had 12 board.
The Grenaiders host Point Park University on Friday and Carlow College on Saturday.
