You should avoid salmonella and e-coli. They will make you deathly sick. Do not eat eggs, tainted meat or spinach fertilized with cow manure. The only foods you should eat are those approved by the USDA, which is another big governmental bureaucracy trying to control, not only what goes into our heads, but also into our stomachs. I object to the government telling us what to eat, where to pray and cramming health care down our throats. If I want to eat a triple hamburger with slices of eggs and spinach in place of cheese, tomatoes and lettuce, I will. If I want to add fatty bacon to it, I will. I do not care if the hog wallowed in mud and rotten manure as the politicians do.
The upstart Tea Party, apparently led by Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and other talk-show hosts are working diligently to take our country back. From where, you ask. From progressives, liberals, socialists, communists, Muslims and all the others who consider our Constitution nothing more than a piece of parched paper. We do not know for sure, but President Obama might be a — see the preceding sentence. He has never proved he was born in this country, nor is a Christian. For all we know, he might prefer Michelle wear a burqa. Oh, no, oh, yes. According to some of the talk show hosts, Obama wants Muslims praying on Ground Zero. Could that hurt us? Yes, it might, because as talking heads have said Muslims would ask Allah for more bombs to eliminate infidels. Then, couldn’t Christians ask God to send Muslims plough shares instead, so that lambs could lie down with lions? Yes, but then you have Allah and God in a squabble. If that occurs, it would interfere with the divine order of the universe. Would it cause chaos? It could, because the big bang could reverse into a big crunch, if God and Allah in collaboration gave up on humankind.
Let’s say liberals are infested with salmonella and conservatives with e-coli and that conservatives are paranoid and liberals schizophrenic. You can vice versa it if you want, but the extremes of both are sick, sick, sick. Are there antidotes to these serious illnesses? Yes, one is a strong dose of common sense.
Take the proposed Muslim cultural center with a prayer room, which is located near two bars and a gentlemen’s club. Wouldn’t it improve moral values if the employees of the club and their gentlemen clients had a convenient place to pray? Yes, but why can’t they put the Muslim cultural center 10 blocks away near a McDonalds and a Wal-Mart as a convenience to shoppers? Did you know the Pentagon, also hit on 911, has a prayer room used by Christians, Jews and Muslims? Don’t tell me that if I want to pray, the government will insist it be in a sanctioned prayer room.
On Aug. 28, 1963, Martin Luther King gave his “I Have a Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial. The inspiring speech helped to establish the civil rights movement. Forty-seven years later, Glenn Beck boldly and courageously stood under Lincoln’s feet and restored what the American people were missing. I knew we were missing something, but did not know exactly what it was. Beck said, “I feel like God dropped a giant sandbag on my head.” I know the feeling. Thanks to him, we can now march forward with “honor.” Without the greats, Lincoln, King and Beck, slavery would encompass the South, rights would be uncivil and America without honor.
Go figure this one out. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Attendance and membership in America’s Christian churches is declining. However, Christianity is the fastest growing religion in Communist China. Marx considered religion “the opium of the people.” Historically, Communist China considered religion worse than opium. Would you believe China is now funding Christian churches and seminaries? According to WorldWide Religious News, the BBC and other news report, Christianity is growing in China as never before, and doing so supported by millions of dollars of government funding. The newest state-supported Christian church will seat 5,000 worshippers. This is alarming. If China is pouring big money into churches, will they have much remaining to loan us to stimulate our banks and armies?
Although the Tea Party people are loosely organized, they are not as disorganized as the Democrats and the Republicans. Tea-baggers serve with honor and the two others do not.
