1) What is your primary reason for seeking this position?

“Georgetown is facing a major turning point. Our community can take control of our future and plan for the needs of our citizens, or we can allow our destiny to be controlled by others who only wish to serve their own needs.”

“I want to improve the quality of life in this community by listening to the citizens and representing them with thoughtful, decisive decisions that will be fiscally responsible and secure our future well-being.”

2) If elected, which issue is your priority to address first and what is your suggested solution?

“The sewer system is my biggest concern at this time. We need to resolve this issue by finding an amicable solution that will move forward with the current plans to build our own sewage treatment facility. I would like to eventually see improvement in our existing infrastructure by procuring grants to upgrade our water and sewage lines and improve our streets, sidewalks, and parks.”

3) What specifically distinguishes you from your opponent in this race?

“As a lifelong resident of Georgetown, I have great pride in this town. I value hard work and honesty. I respect the outstanding efforts of our current town employees and the citizens who work diligently to uphold those values. I will listen to the citizens and do my best to serve.”

Candidates(s) listed on the ballot that did not submit questionnaires by deadline include: Mike Mills of Georgetown and Karla Perkins of Georgetown.
