SHOPPING SAFETY CHECKLIST
This is a list of every toy* recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in 2007. Listed by date of issue with most recent first:
• Swimways Corp. "Skippy" Pool Toys. The fish are blue, purple or green colored and measure 81/2 x 5 inches wide. A loop of elastic tubing shaped like a tongue comes out of the mouth of the fish and is used for launching the fish across the water like a slingshot.
• Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Kitchen Toys. A play kitchen learning toy with a pretend refrigerator, range and sink. The product's item number L5067 is stamped in several locations on the toy.
• Galaxy Warriors” Toy Figures by Henry Gordy International Inc. The posable spaceman figures are about 41⁄2-inches tall and come with two accessories. They were sold at Family Dollar Stores, in various colors including yellow, grey, silver, blue, green, gold, black, and red.
• Elite Operations toys sold at Toys 'R Us. Recall involves four military-style toys, including Super Rigs (#1004), Command Patrol Center (#1020), Barracuda Helicopter (#1023), and 3 Pack 8-inch Figures (#1024). The product number is located on the toy's packaging.
• SimplyFun Ribbit Board Games. The games are sold with five frog-shaped wooden pieces that act as pawns for movement. The wooden pieces are blue, red, green, yellow and lavender in color.
• Toy children's gardening tools sold at Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft stores. This recall involves the Robbie Ducky children's leaf rake, hoe, broom and spade. “Robbie Ducky Garden Collection” is printed on a tag attached to the handle.
• Go Diego Go Animal Rescue Boats. The Fisher Price toy is an orange and yellow boat that squirts water. Cartoon character Diego is in the driver's seat. “Fisher Price,” product number K3413, and a date code between 137-7HF and 223-7HF are marked on the toys.
• Gymboree toy pirate swords, with SKU number 140025491-GYS049. The SKU number is printed on the price tag above the bar code. The sword is made of plastic, and has a gold-colored handle and a gray plastic blade.
• Dunkin' Donuts pink and orange glowsticks given away free with donuts September-October 2007
• Disney Deluxe Winnie-the-Pooh 23-Piece Play Sets consist of either a white or black baby doll and assorted items such as a diaper bag, blanket and playpen, highchair. Sold at J.C. Penney.
• Kipp Brothers bendable dinosaur toys. They are about 3 inches long and come in brown, green or orange/green colors.
• CKI children's decorating sets sold at Toys 'R Us. These Totally Me! - Funky Room Décor Sets are designed to make various room décor projects. The part containing lead is the mirror.
• Eveready Battery Co. “Pirates of the Caribbean” medallion squeeze flashlights, which is gold-colored and about 13⁄4-inches across. It is attached to a leather strap and metal clasp.
• Baby Einstein Discover & Play Color Blocks, Model 30726 and Model 30881. The blocks are made of soft textures and come in different colors. Only date codes of GE7, GF7, and GG7 are included.
• KB Toys Wooden Pull-Along Alphabet & Math Blocks Wagons, Wooden Pull-Along Learning Blocks Wagons, 10-in-1 Activity Learning Carts, and Flip-Flop Alphabet Blocks
• Pottery Barn Kids doll stroller by Lan Enterprises. The Mini Zooper Doll Stroller has a silver metal frame with a bright pink cotton canvas seat cover.
• Guidecraft Inc. Puppet Theaters. They have a chalkboard surface on the front and colored side panels.
• RC2 Knights of the Sword Toys. The three recalled silver knight toys are mounted on red horses sold individually in see-through blister cards. “Britains” and “Knights of the Sword” are printed on the top of the card in the packaging.
• Target Children's Toy Gardening Tools and Chairs. Happy Giddy Gardening Tools and the Sunny Patch Children's Chairs.
• Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Toys: the all-black cargo car, toad vehicle, olive green sodor cargo box and all-green maple tree top and signal base accessories. The front of the packaging has the logo “Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway” in the upper left-hand corner. A tracking code may be located on the bottom of some of the products. Toys marked with codes containing “WJ” and “AZ” are not included in the recall.
• Fisher-Price Big Big World 6-in-1 Bongo Band toys. The toys were sold with animal shaped accessories including a monkey, bird, tambourine and drum stick. The toys have product number K9343 inside the orange drum. A date code between 139-7SH and 232-7SH is printed on the drum's orange ring surface.
• Fisher-Price Geo Trax Freightway Transport and Geo Trax Special Track Pack locomotive toys. These toys are red with yellow paint on the ladder and horn details. The recalled models have a date code between 212-6CK through 325-6CK or 001-7CK through 232-7CK marked on the bottom of the product.
• Barbie® Accessories: Barbie Dream Puppy House, Barbie Dream Kitty Condo Playset, Barbie Table and Chairs Kitchen Playset, Barbie Bathtub and Toilet Playset, Barbie Futon and Table Living Room Playset, Barbie Desk and Chair Bedroom Playset, Barbie Couch & Table Living Room Playset
• Spinning Tops and Tin Pails By Schylling Associates. The recalled tops and pails are primarily metal and have wooden handles. The tops are painted with Thomas and Friends, Curious George, or a circus scene. The pails are painted with Thomas and Friends, Curious George, or in a solid red or yellow color.
• Hampton Direct Magnetic Alphabet and Number train sets. The train sets include a wooden engine, caboose, letters and numbers. The miniature train sets are sold in a rainbow of colors and have either a letter or number attached to the top of a base with four wooden wheels. The alphabet train set contains 28 pieces, and the number train set contains 12 pieces.
• Polly Pocket Play Sets by Mattel contain plastic dolls and accessories that have small magnets. The magnets measure 1/8 inch in diameter and are embedded in the hands and feet of some dolls, and in the plastic clothing, hairpieces and other accessories to help the pieces attach to the doll or to the doll's house.
• Mattel Doggie Day Care play sets
• Mattel Barbie and Tanner play sets, model numbers J9472 and J9560.
• Mattel “Sarge” Die Cast 2 1⁄2 inch toy cars. The toy looks like a military jeep and has the markings “7EA” and “China” on the bottom.
• Mattel Batman and One Piece Magnetic Action Figure Sets. Included are The Batman Magna Battle Armor figure with model number J1944, Batman Magna Fight Wing figure with model number J1946, The Batman Secret ID figure with model number J5114, and the Batman Flying Fox figure with model number J5115. The recalled One Piece toy is the Triple Slash Zolo Roronoa figure with model number J4142.
• Orvis Company children's sleeping bags accessories. The Stuffed Horse, a plush brown horse pillow has outstretched fore and back legs and attaches to the sleeping bag with a hook/loop attachment. The Fairy Doll, a stuffed fairy doll with a pink satin dress attaches to a unicorn sleeping bag with a hook/loop attachment on the bag.
• Fisher-Price Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, and other children's toys that were manufactured between April 19, 2007 and July 6, 2007 and were sold alone or as part of sets. The toys may have a date code between 109-7LF and 187-7LF marked on the product or packaging.
• Estes-Cox Corp. Model 4116 Sky Rangers Park Flyer radio control airplanes.
• The Easy-Bake Oven. A purple and pink plastic oven that resembles a kitchen range with four burners on top and a front-loading oven. "Easy Bake" is printed on the front of the oven. Model number 65805 and "Hasbro" are stamped into the plastic on the back of the oven.
• AAFES "Soldier Bear" Toy Sets: HE.R.O.E.S. Dino Mega Cruiser, Dinosaur Adventure Set, Wild Animal Adventure Set and H.E.R.O.E.S. Vehicle Play Set (three styles: military, police and fire rescue).
• Kipp Brothers Mag Stix Magnetic Building Sets contain 24 pieces, including twelve 1-inch sticks, four 2.25-inch sticks, and eight metal balls. The sticks are yellow, green, blue and rust-colored. "Item No. 40330 Made in China" and UPC number 7 7704 40330 1 are printed on the packaging.
• Infantino Shape Sorting Toy Castles. The recall only includes castles with the following date codes: 5349, 6087, 6132 and 0906.
• Target Play Wonder Barbeque Grill. The grill is metal and has an orange metal base and top, along with stainless steel legs and a removable circular ash tray.
• RC2 Corp. Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Toys includes wooden vehicles, buildings and other train set components: Red James Engine & Red James' # 5 Coal Tender Red Lights & Sounds James Engine & Red James' #5 Lights & Sounds Coal Tender James with Team Colors Engine & James with Team Colors #5 Coal Tender Red Skarloey Engine Brown & Yellow Old Slow Coach, Red Hook & Ladder Truck & Red Water Tanker Truck, Red Musical Caboose, Red Sodor Line Caboose, Red Coal Car labeled "2006 Day Out With Thomas" on the Side, Red Baggage Car, Red Holiday Caboose, Red "Sodor Mail" Car, Red Fire Brigade Truck, Red Fire Brigade Train, Deluxe Sodor Fire Station, Red Coal Car, Yellow Box Car, Red Stop Sign, Yellow Railroad Crossing Sign, Yellow "Sodor Cargo Company" Cargo Piece, Ice Cream Factory
• Gemmy Industries Corp. plastic flashing eyeball toy filled with liquid. The model numbers of this product are: 27828, 27544 and 06470.
• The Boyds Collection Ltd. Toy Drums, Eli's Small Drums and Liberty's Large Drums. The decorative toy drums are made of wood and feature an antique U.S. flag decoration. The Eli's Small Drum has item number 654933 printed on its hangtag and packaging. The Liberty's Large Drum has item number 654934 printed on its hangtag and packaging.
• AAFES "Soldier Bear" Toy Sets, Invincibles Transport Converters Toy Sets. This recall involves toy sets with multiple action figures and vehicles. The model number (88931), Universal Product Code (6 98567 88931 4) and Soldier Bear logo are printed on the product's packaging.
• Tri-Star International Ball Rattles, Wrist Rattles, Wind-Up Toys. The ball rattle is a multi-colored, 3-inch ball with oval openings and a small hexagon opening at each end. The wrist rattle toy is a white plastic wristband toy with six multi-colored balls with small bells inside. The wind-up toy is a 7.5-inch pink giraffe with yellow legs and a green wind-up knob below the tail of the giraffe.
• Bookspan Discovery Bunny yellow cloth books. The mid-section of the yellow and white plush stuffed bunny opens to a six-page cloth book. The plush bunny has black & white checkered ears and feet. The "SoftPlay" logo is printed on a tag sewn into the bunny toy.
• Bookspan Baby Buddy clip-on clothes/stroller books. The 4-inch round book titled "Baby Faces" displays eight babies making faces that correspond with the emotion listed on the page.
• Small World IQ Preschool Take-Apart Townhouse. These wooden toys are shaped like houses. They have nine pieces that children can disassemble and reassemble. Each house has a green chimney and a blue and yellow striped pillar with a purple base at each corner.
• Battat Inc. Parents® Magazine Record-A-Voice Toy Cell Phones. The toy cell phone plays different songs, sound effects and user recorded messages. They were sold in polka dot, swirl, floral and stripe patterns, and the Parents® logo is visible inside the flip-top.
• Graco Soft Blocks Towers on Graco Baby Einstein® discover and play Activity Centers. The soft block tower is a stack of three different shaped stuffed fabric blocks in red, yellow and blue. Pictures of apples, fire engines, ducks, bananas, birds and blueberries on the blocks are covered in plastic film. Only model number 4635BEE with serial numbers 012705 through 063005 are included in this recall.
• Target Anima Bamboo Collection Games
• Magnetix Magnetic Building Sets. The recall includes all sets, except newer Magnetix sets sold since March 31, 2006, that are age-labeled 6 plus.
• Small World Wooden Sound Puzzles, "Sounds on the Farm" and "Sounds on the Go”. The wooden puzzles have four pieces in farm animal or vehicle shapes that make animal or motor sounds when the pieces are lifted by their knobs from the puzzle boards. "©2003 Small World Toys®" and the number 24101 or 24102 are printed at the bottom of the puzzles boards.
• Target Little Tree wooden activity cart toys. This is a multi-colored cart with an orange seat and a wooden tray. The cart has apple trees, a blue fence, and red, blue and green flowers painted on one side.
• OKK Trading "Lovely Baby" and "Happy Baby" plastic dolls. The dolls come in different sizes ranging from six to 11 inches tall. Some dolls come in a basket and have a baby bottle and some sing when pressed on the abdominal area.
• Regent Fun Ball is an orange stuffed ball toy that measures 4 inches in diameter and designed to look like a basketball. The ball is printed with colored numbers, letters and "Reg. #PA-10623(HK)."
• Estes-Cox Radio Control Airplanes Sky Squadron Model 4153 (sold at RadioShack) and Sky Rangers Model 4161 (sold at Wal-Mart). Model 4153 is a blue Corsair single engine airplane with a Number 15 decal and a black and blue transmitter/charger. Model 4161 is a red twin engine plane with an all-black transmitter/charger.
• Toys "R" Us "Elite Operations" Toy Sets Models: Super Rigs Transport Vehicle (Item # 087286), Command Patrol Center (Item # 920625) and Troop Carrier (Item # 773967).
• Sportcraft Inflatable Bounce Houses: "Castle Kingdom," "Jump 'N' Kingdom," and "Bounce 'N' Playhouse." The fan's model number, FJ4-330C or FJ4-330C2, is printed on a silver sticker on the fan's housing.
• Jazwares Inc. Link-N-Lite Magnetic Puzzles, which is a double-sided plastic magnetic puzzle for ages 3 and up, has two designs. The Disney-brand puzzle shows the Disney Princesses on the front and Ariel, from The Little Mermaid, on the back. The Marvel-brand puzzle shows "Spider-Man & Friends" on both sides. Each puzzle measures 8 inches by 10.5 inches, contains nine pieces with four or six magnets per piece, and lights-up when all pieces are in place.
• Fisher-Price "Laugh and Learn" Bunny Toys. The yellow bunny with one green and one orange ear has musical and counting sound effects. The words, "Laugh and Learn" are printed on the bunny's shirt. Product numbers involved in the recall are: K0468, K2960, K2961, K2962, K2963, K2964, K2965, K3440, K6898, K7884, L0327, and K5862. The product numbers are located on the fabric tag sewn to the body of the bunny.
• Battery Packs for Toy Vehicles by JAKKS Pacific used with FLY WHEELS XPV toy vehicles. The battery packs were sold with a charger (item number 73904) and with the radio-controlled XPV toy (item number 73906). The batteries are marked "Fly Wheelz," "XPV," and "JAKKS Pacific," "Lithium-ion Polymer battery (LiPo).”
• Geometix International LLC MagneBlocks Sets. The sets contain six or more plastic building pieces and six or more 1/2-inch diameter steel balls. Some sets include steel rods. The building pieces are various colors and are shaped in 1 1/2-inch cubes and three-, four-, and five-sided pyramids. The plastic building pieces have “MagneBlocks” imprinted on them.
• Target baby rattles and ornaments. The two styles of rattles include a pink bear and a green moose. The plush animals either have a rattle inside or a plastic ring attached. The photo frame ornaments are a pink bear or green moose holding either a square or heart-shaped frame.

Rebuild Marysville event raises money for town hit by tornado
Kirsty Travelstead of Marysville explained that as of Saturday morning, more than 300 T-shirts had been sold. For the event they had hopes of raising at least $5,000 from the T-shirts, food sales and the grill raffle.
