> SOUTHERN INDIANA —
Local historian and author Gregg Seidl is back with a host of haunted tours, beginning Friday with the “Blue Moon Drinking With the Dead” tour.
The tour will begin at 7 p.m. at Hugh E. Bir’s, and will include several stops with insight from Seidl on haunted happenings and gruesome deaths that have occurred in downtown New Albany.
At 6 p.m. Saturday, “Blue Moon Dining with the Dead” will also feature the stories and places of the previous night’s tour, but without the drinking. It will begin at the River City Winery, and then proceed to Habana Blues for dinner.
Tickets for both events are $10, but drinks and food are separate costs.
Beginning Sept. 15, Seidl will resume his noted “Nefarious New Albany” tours. Some of the usual local establishments will be included on those tours, which will run every Saturday evening through September, most of October and part of November, but it will also extend out Market Street to the old Trinity Church before returning back to Main Street.
Tickets for the “Nefarious New Albany” tours are $15. There won’t be tours on Oct. 13 or Oct. 20.
For more information or to inquire about tickets, contact Seidl via email at gsei691@aol.com, or call him at 812-948-1195.
