NEW ALBANY —
Local architect and historian Steve Wiser will host a book signing for his new book “Distinctive Houses of Louisville” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Destinations Bookstore, 604 E. Spring St. in New Albany.
The book features notable residences in metro Louisville that range in style from historic to modern, and in age from 1837 to 2011. The cover of the book features New Albany’s Greystone Gables. The book is a 100-page, hard-cover, all color book and retails for $25.
All proceeds benefit the Visually Impaired Preschool Services and can be purchased also from the VIPS website at www.VIPS.org.
Wiser has also written other local design books “Modern Houses of Louisville,” “Sites to See by DESIGN,” “Louisville 2035” and “Louisville Tapestry: People and Places that helped create America’s Most Livable City.”
