The location for the third trial in the case of a former Indiana state trooper accused of killing his wife and children has been announced. David Camm will be tried in Boone County, which is northwest of Indianapolis, according to a report from WLKY-TV in Louisville.
Camm was twice convicted of killing his wife, Kim, and their children, Brad and Jill, at their Floyd County home in 2000. Both convictions were overturned.
Attorneys from both sides met last week in Spencer County to discuss the venue for Camm’s third trial. Camm opted not to attend that hearing.
Camm is still being held in jail after a bail request was denied, and his third trial is expected to begin in August.
Another man, Charles Boney, was convicted of the Camms’ murders in 2006. He’s serving a 225-year sentence.

A second round of graduation rates for 2012 from the state will please some local districts while making others wish the changes were never made.

Floyd County Nutrition Coalition hands out 1,000 tomato plants
The organization recently handed out 1,000 free tomato plants in the community, as several groups participated in the effort including HOPE Southern Indiana, Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services and the Floyd County Health Department.
