NEW ALBANY —
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, at Eighth and Spring streets in New Albany, will host its annual summer festival and street dance June 22-23.
Friday will be Family Night featuring chicken dinners from Joe Huber’s along with several kids games, a silent auction, a gigantic yard sale and beer garden. Music will be played by the Big Moonlight Band. Gates open at 5:30 on Family Night and admission is free.
The Saturday Street Dance will feature the Louisville Crashers. Gates open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 9 p.m. Attendees must be 21 and older and admission is $10, or free with the purchase of two capital prize tickets.
Wick’s Pizza and deli food will be available. There will also be a casino tent and beer garden. Three capital prizes will be given away — $10,000 in cash, 42-inch plasma television and $500 Kroger gift card. For more information call St. Mary’s at 812-944-0417.
