The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department and the Floyd County Emergency Management Agency is warning motorists to take caution when driving today. Standing water is covering several county roads.
As of press time, Kamer Miller Road, Carver Street, Horne Avenue, Paoli Pike, Lucy Drive and Tye Avenue are partially or totally under water and impassible.
The roads that will be temporally blocked include the 3900 block of Scottsville Road and the 5000 block Edwardsville-Galena Road.
Terry Herthel, director of the Floyd County Emergency Management Agency, also reminds motorists not to drive through high water.
