Health Department H1N1 clinic to include 2nd dose for 9 and under
The Floyd County Health Department will offer a walk-in H1N1 Clinic for children six months and older; and for children, nine and younger, who need their second dose of the H1N1 vaccine (it must be at least 28 days since the child received the first dose), from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the Floyd County 4-H Fairgrounds, Green Valley Road, New Albany.
There is no fee for the vaccination.

Destinations hosts Artists of Gallapalooza II signing
Destinations Booksellers and Dueling Grounds Cafe will host the Artists of Gallopalooza II for a signing of their book, “Gallopalooza II: The Horses of Possibility City,” at 2 p.m. today at the store, 604 East Spring St., New Albany.
The book includes beautiful color photographs and descriptions of the Gallopalooza horses — the life-size art horses designed for the popular public art project in the Louisville area.

St. Michaels hosts Christmas Bazaar and Choir Concert
St. Michaels Catholic Church will host a Spaghetti Dinner, Christmas Bazaar and Choir Concert from noon to 6 p.m. today at the newly completed Parish Life Center, 11400 Farmers Lane Northeast, Bradford, in Harrison County.
Join us for an Italian feast with meat sauce spaghetti, salad, bread, drink and dessert. There will be a Christmas Bazaar with a variety of gift ideas, a silent auction, raffles (including a special quilt), special raffle, and a raffle for a Kawasaki 610 Mule Utility vehicle. Santa will visit from 2 to 4 p.m. The Voices of Generations 2 Music Concert will perform Christian and Christmas music beginning at 7 p.m. and a free will offering will be accepted. To reach the church, follow I-64 to the Greenville exit, travel 12 miles to Bradford Road, turn left, travel two miles and the road becomes Farmers Lane.

AME Church hosts coat giveaway
The Phillips-Grundy Women’s Missionary Society of the Indiana Conference AME Church will host a Winter Coat Giveaway from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Bethel AME Church, 315 East Fifth St., New Albany.
Coats will be available for anyone in need — men, women, children and infants — and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. There will also be a free meal for those in need, consisting of chili, hot dogs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, desserts and drinks.
