NEW ALBANY —
New Albany firefighters were called to a house fire at 215 Olive Ave. Thursday afternoon.
The call came in at 1:03 p.m., according to Capt. Jodie Wilson with the New Albany Fire Department, and firefighters were on the scene two minutes later, he said.
Wilson said the fire was contained to the attic above the kitchen area. There were no injuries and the fire was quickly extinguished, he said. He said the house received minimal damage.
Firefighters had to remove some of the insulation in the attic to make sure the fire was put out. Wilson said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
