Highland Hills captured the eighth-grade tournament title and Scribner won the crown in the seventh-grade tournament in the finals of the Clark-Floyd Middle School Girls' Basketball Tournament at Highland Hills Middle School on Monday.

The Jeffersonville boys’ basketball team completed a two-game weekend sweep of Evansville teams on Saturday night, defeating host Evansville Harrison 56-51. On Friday night, the Red Devils prevailed at Evansville Reitz, 69-37.

For only the 15th time in program history, Providence defeated the archrival Bulldogs by a record-setting score, 50-20. The 30-point margin is the widest Pioneer victory margin in the 54-year history of the rivalry.
