Rumors circulating about New Albany not having a game scheduled for Friday evening are just that, rumors.
New Albany athletic director Don Unruh confirmed today that the Bulldogs scheduled game against Columbus East will be played as planned on Friday.
There was talk during the preseason that with East’s success on the football field the Olympians would be looking to move their first two scheduled games of the season — not so.
Even though Columbus East fell in the Class 4A Semistate on the gridiron, it will still open its season on Tuesday against the Australian Travelers.
