Herschel ‘LH’ A. Barnett, 48; of New Albany
Funeral services for Herschel “LH” A. Barnett, 48, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church, 3845 Wayne St., New Albany, with burial in Westhaven Cemetery. He died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009.
He graduated from New Albany High School in 1980.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley A. Smith Barnett, of New Albany; daughters, Brandi Harris, of Jeffersonville and Remy Barnett, of Indianapolis; son, Courtney McPheeters, of New Albany; sisters, Cory Berry, of Clarksville, Lisa Barnett, of Jeffersonville, Helen Barnett, of New Albany, and Tara Wells, of New Albany; brother, Anthony W. Barnett, of New Albany; and grandchildren, Todd Walls Jr. and Janaiah Stewart.
Visitation will be at the church from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to New First Baptist Church of Jefferson Garden, 3725 St. Joesph Road, New Albany, 47150.
