LOUISVILLE —
Floyd Central ended a three-game losing streak with a 62-37 victory at Presentation Academy in Louisville on Wednesday.

After leading 22-18 at the half, the Highlanders outscored Presentation 40-19 in the second half, including a 22-7 advantage in the fourth quarter.
“It was a rough first half,” Hamsley said. “The second half, we settled down and played harder.”
Tori Kingsley led a balanced Floyd attack with 16 points. Niki Bruno added 12, Shelby Rost nine, Brooke Hinton eight, Madison Kaiser seven and Bri Roth finished with six for the Highlanders, who travel to Bedford to take on the Hoosier Hills Conference leading Stars on Saturday afternoon.
