>>SOUTHERN INDIANA — Christian Academy of Indiana boys’ basketball coach Joshua Hutchinson will has resigned from his position at the school.
Hutchinson spent two seasons as CAI head coach — compiling a 3-19 record in his second season at CAI, and a 10-34 overall mark as head coach.
Hutchinson said he plans to continue at the school as an english instructor and his studies in a secondary education program.
The coach said he has no immediate plans to pursue another coaching opportunity.
“I believe in a God that provides opportunities,” Hutchinson said. “And if something is presented to me that is appealing to both me and my wife, I would look at that. Right now, I can’t say that I have immediate plans to coach basketball.”
CAI has officially posted the position on the schools’ Web site. Hutchinson’s replacement will be the fifth coach at Christian Academy in six seasons.
