Reader: C’town mayor is the best

I am writing this letter to praise our Charlestown Mayor Bob Hall. He has proven himself to be a sturdy man we can all count on. He is there when we are in need indeed! he cares for us no matter what befalls this little town. During our first hurricane, he was there for this town’s people. He had shelters, showers, and hot food set up for all those in need, no questions asked. He was on the news to calm our fears and let us know where help could be found in our little town. After the wind storm was over, he had food to help all those who lost their food due to the power outages. Then during the ice and snow storm, he came to the aid of the people in town once again. Charlestown was one fo the first to be listed on the news informing everyone that safety and warmth were available in town. Never fear, Mayor Bob Hall is here!

As if that were not enough, Mayor Hall spearheads a project to help our town’s children educationally. He wants to make sure our entire teenage population graduates from high school with a state of the art education. A solid education will prepare our children for the world of the future to insure their success in life. He leads the way to get our Charlestown students the very best laptop computers to learn in school with. This will insure our children have the best chance to compete for a post high school education, and jobs of the future. It will also bring businesses to our area, because we will have a skilled workforce here for them to employ. And, just the other night, he was telling me about his plans for a Web T.V. show highlighting our local students’ talents. He has local business owners on board, as well as our town, providing wireless internet for our young students.

Mayor Bob Hall is helping save the health of our townspeople in the “Move It or Lose It Charlestown” program. He is helping the fat people! God bless this sweet caring hardworking man.

Charlestown looked like Christmas Village at the North Pole. The lights and music were spectacular. I am sure the angels in heaven saw that Christmas tree. I heard Santa himself was amazed at this year’s decorations in town. Great job once again Mayor Bob “The Christmas Man” Hall!

I for one think he has worked hard for us and deserves his pay raise. I believe that hard efficient working people are worth paying for. To get the best, you sometimes need to pay for the best. Mayor Bob Hall is a bargain in my estimation. I am proud of our Mayor and all his good deeds (for which I am sure that I missed a few). I am so very proud of our town. Charlestown is a better place, because of Mayor Bob Hall.

— Annette Hoff, Charlestown
