TRIBUNE CHEERS AND JEERS: September 1, 2010

FLOYD COUNTY — ... to the organizers of Sunday’s fourth Giants in the Faith celebration and to its honorees. The Tribune has been happy to partner with the Interfaith Community Council for each year of this program’s existence. Beyond the obvious fact that Interfaith encourage unity instead of divisiveness, an admirable goal for our community, is another lesser known reason. These honorees are more than people of faith. They are good people making our communities stronger. And for that we’re glad to help honor these Giants. (In case you missed the coverage, check out Tribune editions from Sunday and Tuesday or you can find the stories online at our website.)
