CLARKSVILLE —
An arrest has been made in a December armed robbery case.
Mark T. Johnson, 25, has been charged with robbery, a class B felony.
According to the probable cause affidavit, a woman, who was being questioned about a New Albany robbery, told police that she was in the car when Johnson covered his face and went into the Dairy Mart along Greentree Boulevard on Dec. 26. She said he came back out telling her to “go go go” and had a black gun on his lap.
According to a press release from the Clarksville Police Department, Johnson had gone into the store and demanded money from an employee, taking his gun out from his pocket.
The release said Johnson was already in jail on unrelated charges at the time of his arrest.
If convicted of robbery, Johnson could face six to 20 years in jail.
