CLARKSVILLE —
The Indiana Department of Transportation will be hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 4, at INDOT’s Falls City Subdistrict office, 5701 U.S. 31 in Clarksville.
Indiana’s state transportation department is seeking full-time and seasonal plow drivers and mechanics this winter. Employment for these seasonal positions is limited to the winter months, and hours will vary each week based upon weather and need. All applicants must pass a drug test and drivers must have a Commercial Drivers License. Starting pay is $15 per hour.
The fair will be an open house and interested candidates must bring their résumé. Some interviews may be conducted during the job fair. Priority will be given to qualified candidates who complete an online application at www.in.gov/spd/2334.htm. Search for positions with a location of Jeffersonville or Job Opening ID 581304.
