FLOYD COUNTY —
Shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday, officers from the U. S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, [Great Lakes Region], the Indiana State Police and Clarksville Police arrested Danny Poston, aka: “Danny Diamenz” and “Mr. President.” Poston, 23, from Pittsburgh, was recently staying in Clarksville, according to a release from the Indiana State Police.
He was arrested on a federal warrant out of West Virginia for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and three arrest warrants out of Pittsburgh for gun charges, assault and probation.
Poston was arrested after a tip came into the U. S. Marshals that he was staying in Clarksville, at 1915 Beechlawn Dr., according to the release. Officers set up surveillance on the residence and were able to arrest Poston after a traffic stop was made near the Kamer Miller Road and Charlestown Road area in Floyd County.
After the traffic stop, the investigation led back to the 1915 Beechlawn Dr. address in Clarksville where an indoor marijuana grow was located in the basement of the home.
Poston was taken to the Floyd County Jail awaiting extradition. Any local criminal charges will be pending.
