NEW ALBANY —
A New Albany teenager is facing multiple charges following his arrest Saturday.
Anthony J. Scott, 18, of Riverside Drive, was arrested for burglary and residential entry.
A resident of Riverside Drive came home around 12:50 p.m. Saturday and found a man inside his apartment and leaving out the back door carrying a television set, said Maj. Keith Whitlow of the New Albany Police Department.
The resident chased the intruder, who dropped the television set and continued to run, he said.
Witnesses identified Scott and police arrested him later in the day. He is being held at the Floyd County Jail.
