JEFFERSONVILLE —
Three people were sent to University of Louisville Hospital for injuries received during a traffic accident on Ind. 62 on Monday, according to the Jeffersonville Police Department.
The severity of the injuries and the names of those involved were not available as of press time.
Jeffersonville police Detective Isaac Parker said police began rerouting all eastbound traffic on Ind. 62 at about 6:20 p.m., the time police arrived at the accident scene.
At 8:45 p.m., traffic was still being rerouted.
Parker said two vehicles were involved in the accident, but could not confirm the direction of travel of the vehicles.
No information on the cause or possible charges was disclosed.
The investigation is ongoing, Parker said.
