JEFFERSONVILLE —
Vandals spraypainted and damaged property at Jeffersonville High School early last week.
Erin Bojorquez, supervisor of communications at Greater Clark County Schools, said between July 2 and July 4, the press box at Blair Field — Jeff’s football and track field — was spraypainted and four buses at the high school were spraypainted and had broken windows.
The Jeffersonville Police Department is investigating the incidents, but did not return requests for comment by press time.
Bojorquez said the district is still working with its insurance company to determine the dollar amount of damage caused.
Several cars were spraypainted in a residential area of downtown Jeffersonville on the night of July 2. Police haven’t commented whether the vandalism at JHS is connected to those incidents.
