Brain injury group to meet
The February meeting of the Southern Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in the Education Conference Room at Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital, 3401 Blackiston Blvd., New Albany.

Register for spelling bee by Friday
Rock Creek Community Academy, 11525 U.S. 31, Sellersburg, is sponsoring an adult/teenage spelling bee at 6:30 p.m. March 14, at the school.
Teams will consists of three to five people and entry fee is $15 per person.

Proceeds will help fund the eighth grade trip to Chicago.

Get a look at NA-FC schools
Families whose children are not enrolled in New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corp. and who live in the surrounding counties are invited to the Showcase of Schools from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, or 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 28.
Interested families should show up at the school they’re interested in during these times. Interested families who are unable to attend are free to contact the schools to schedule individual tours.
UMW women to host breakfast
The Floyd County United Methodist Women will hold their annual Lenten Breakfast at Silver Street United Methodist Church at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.

American Girl tea party set
The Clarksville Branch Library, 1312 Eastern Blvd., is hosting an American Girl tea party from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, at the library.
Join the library staff for genteel crafts, cookies and conversation as the legacy of the American Girl dolls and the history they represent are discussed. American Girl dolls are invited as well. This event is for youth in grades 1 through 5. Registration is required. Call 812-285-5640 to register.
