SELLERSBURG —
Three people face charges after police found a possible methamphetamine lab in Sellersburg.
John Raymond Holtzman, 59, of Sellersburg, Jeremy D. Buisson, 34, of Jeffersonville, and Stacy N. Buisson, 31, of Corydon, are charged with dealing meth, a class B felony, possession of meth, a class D felony, and possession of meth precursors, a class D felony.
Holtzman also is charged for maintaining a common nuisance, a class D felony. Jeremy Buisson is also charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, a class D felony.
According to the probable cause affidavit, police went to 2023 Johnson Blvd., in Sellersburg, to respond to a argument between a man and a woman May 10. Once offices arrived, they smelled a strong chemical odor coming from the house. The homeowner, Holtzman, answered the door and said there wasn’t any arguing going on. As he was talking, the Buissons took off for the back of the trailer, where they were met by another officer, according to the affidavit.
While talking to the suspects, officers saw many items used for making meth in plain view. Officers also found a plastic bag with a white powder substance that appeared to be meth in Jeremy Bussion’s front pocket.
The three were arrested and taken to the Clark County Jail.
If convicted, they face six to 20 years for the B felony charge and six months to three years for each D felony charge.
