BORDEN —
A Borden woman is being held in the Michael L. Becher Adult Corrections Facility in Clark County after she was arrested on Thursday by Indiana State Police for being in posession of drugs and stolen property.
According to a press release from the ISP Sellersburg Post, troopers, along with members of the Washington County Drug Team, visited the residence along Cummins Road in Borden for a parole visit. During the visit, police found methamphetamine in the residence. Upon further investigation they located more methamphatimine, drug paraphernalia and stolen property valued at about $20,000.
Lindsay M. Shaw, 22, was arrested at the scene and charged with alleged possession of methamphetamine under three grams, a D felony; possession of stolen property, [Four Counts], D felony; maintaining a common nuisance, D felony and possession of paraphernalia, A misdemeanor.
The stolen articles recovered during the search warrant included a 2000 Honda motorcycle, a 2007 Polaris ATV, a 2008 Hustler zero turn lawn mower, a leaf blower, a weed eater and a 2001 flat bed trailer.
According to the release, the investigation into the case is ongoing and it is possible other charges could be brought against other occupants of the residence.
