LOUISVILLE —
A wind advisory has been issued for Southern Indiana — including Clark and Floyd counties — until 10 p.m. today [Monday] by the National Weather Service.
Increasingly strong and gusty winds will develop early this afternoon and continue into the evening. Sustained winds of 30 mph to 39 mph gusts of 40 to 57 mph can be expected and can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Weakened trees may be blown over.
Today’s high will near 60 and showers are expected tonight. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent and as much as a half inch of rain is in the forecast.
Breezy conditions will continue Tuesday with a high of about 40. Thursday will bring a chance of rain, sleet or snow.
