NEW ALBANY —
The Christian Academy girls' basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak on Monday night by defeating visiting Medora, 61-57.
Allison Burch led the Warriors with 17 points, as she hit two 3-pointers. CAI sophomore Krista Boesing had 14 points, while teammate Brittany Moffett recorded a double-double with 10 points and a team-high 16 rebounds.
“She played really well. She was a good spark for us,” Warriors’ interim coach Mike Baird said about Moffett.
The Warriors outrebounded Medora, 52-27.
Christian Academy (4-12) will hosts Orleans (10-6) next Tuesday.
