SPRINGFIELD, Ky. —
IU Southeast had eight players score at least five points, including four in double figures, in a 70-61 victory over host St. Catharine (Ky.) on Tuesday afternoon.
Cameron Mitchell led IU Southeast with 13 points, nine rebounds and a pair of steals. Haris Batalevic and Tyrell Means scored 11 points apiece and Jeffersonville graduate Kegan Clark added 10 points and eight boards in the victory.
Kevin Mitchell finished with nine points and a game-high five assists for the Grenadiers, who led 32-26 at the break and led by as many as 19 with 1:42 left in the contest.
Former New Albany Bulldog Parker Henes went 3-for-3 and finished with six points and four boards for the Grenadiers. IU Southeast improved to 8-3 overall.
The Grenadiers will host the University of the Cumberlands at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
